History meets beauty in the medieval town Vianden at the countryside in Luxembourg. Here I observed the Vianden Castle stood high and strong above the green trees, holding stories from long ago. A wonderful place to feel the past come alive. Vianden Castle is like stepping into a storybook - ancient walls, secret tales, and views that take your breath away.

The moment I crossed the threshold of the Bock Casemates in Luxembourg City on the 7th August 2025, tthe light faded and the air changed. Cool and damp, it carried whispers of centuries past. These tunnels, carved deep into the rock, once sheltered soldiers, stored ammunition, and echoed with the tension of war. Now, they cradle silence - broken only by the distant drip of water and the shuffle of my curious footsteps.

We were joining the disreputable Insect tribe on a crocodile hunt in the late evening. Help, what are we going to do? The spear broke immediately, and the big crocodile rose from the muddy water, and jumped towards us........

Scattered across Albania’s rugged hills and quiet fields, thousands of concrete domes rise from the earth like relics of another world. Built under the shadow of fear, the bunkers were a colossal undertaking - an all-consuming project that drained national resources and reshaped the economy. While schools, roads, and industry waited, concrete kept pouring. And the invasion they were meant to repel never came.

The world may feel smaller today, but the spirit of discovery is still vast. There was a time when the map felt open. Borders were lines to cross, not barriers to fear. But today, more than ever, conflict and chaos close roads and doors - sometimes forever. So many dreams, shattered by wars - but i don`t give up travelling. It has a purpose for me.

Albania’s history is deeply dramatic, and its ancient wonders reflect centuries of conflict, conquest, resistance, and survival. This small Balkan nation has stood at the crossroads of empires for thousands of years. Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans - all left their mark.

Me and my friends started our adventure from Fitzroy Island, just off the coast of Cairns in northern Australia. It’s a lush, tropical island surrounded by crystal clear water and vibrant coral. The perfect gateway to one of the world’s greatest natural wonders - the Great Barrier Reef.

Eighty-one years ago, on 6th June 1944, thousands of Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy in France. It was the largest amphibious invasion in history, and it changed the course of World War II. This military operation was the beginning of the end of Nazi occupation in Western Europe. The D-Day still matters today.

Reached the top of Trebević Mountain in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stood beside the faded Olympic rings thinking of the past. I was hit by a strong contrast - nature’s beauty wrapped around the scars of war that erupted afterwards.

On a tiny island in the heart of the Pacific, I found a whole world wrapped in turquoise water, white sand, and smiling faces. Fiji lies in the south Pacific Ocean, and of all the 300 islands there, I ended up at Beachcomber Island in 1987 - small enough to walk around in 15 minutes. Palms danced in the breeze, coral reefs sparkled beneath the surface, and every moment was touched by the gentle spirit of Fiji. But nothing captured that spirit more than a simple drink — kava.

Amid the heart of Istanbul, the Blue Mosque - Sultan Ahmed Mosque -stands timeless. This feels like something out of a fairytale graceful, grand, and timeless. Every curve and minaret tell a story, echoing the beauty and soul of old Istanbul.

I wandered through the heart of Ohrid, passing one historic church after another - each with its own quiet story - until I finally reached a breathtaking sight: Church of St. John at Kaneo - a small, majestic church perched high on a cliff, gazing out over the still waters of Lake Ohrid.

Took my steps into the spiritual world of Penang in Malaysia in 1987. Penang is famous for its beautiful beaches, but for they who want to dive in to the spiritual world, you have come to the right place. To find peace in your soul and enrich your life, temples there are something you shouldn't miss. Especially one: Wat Buppharam!
